Pigeon Forge is, of course, known for being a family-friendly town! What better way to spend time as a family than by supporting family-owned businesses? These are just a few of our favorite spots in town to dine and have fun. Check them out during your visit!

  1. Local Goat

Local Goat is a favorite to locals and visitors alike; and for good reason! Not only are they locally owned, but all their ingredients are fresh from local sources. When you arrive, you’ll be surrounded by art pieces made by Sevier County locals, too! It’s the perfect place to be immersed in Smokies culture.

With the goal of creating a one-of-a-kind distillery experience for their visitors, they joined their distillery with a kitchen. Whether you’re looking for slow-cooked BBQ or a non GMO farm raised burger, Junction 35 is just the ticket. This place is casual, energetic, and fun with great food, friendly faces, and real hospitality!

The recipes here have been passed down for generations. The Apple Barn is family-owned and operated and has been for over 50 years! We love their home-cooked meals and visiting the Cider Mill for out-of-this world apple ciders, jams, and more!

Visit them any time of the day for breakfast, lunch, or supper! They serve their food family-style; which means they bring a portion of each of their items you order for you to try. Want more? Just let your server know and they’ll keep it coming. It’s all you can eat, too! We should also mention all of their recipes come from the Johnson family’s great grandmother, so you know it’s good cookin’!

Named #1 Place To Eat in Pigeon Forge on Trip Advisor in 2016, this is about to be your new favorite café spot in town! Visit them for delicious pancakes in the morning and a Rueben in the afternoon (take our word for it).
