Coming to Sevier County in 2023

Sevier County is ever-growing, ever-changing- and we love that about our mountain home! Every year a new attraction or restaurant pops up that blows us away. 2023 is promising to be an incredible year for Sevier County and we don’t want you to miss out on any of these incredible new sights! 

Here’s what you can expect in 2023 in The Smokies:

• Sky Pirates of Mermaid Bay- An Epic Golf Adventure

Ahoy, Matey! Explore the depths of the ocean in the heart of the mountains at Sky Pirates of Mermaid Bay! Swim with mermaids and loot with pirates at our indoor and rooftop mini golf courses! 

Top Concepts, known for creating Crave Golf Club and Toy Box Mini Golf, is at it again! This attraction will feature indoor and rooftop mini golf courses themed to replicate the mysteries and fantasies of the ocean. For updates and sneak peeks, follow them on Facebook and Instagram! • Buc-ee’s

Need fuel? Buc-ee’s. Hungry? Buc-ee’s. Need a potty break? Buc-ee’s.

But really, we’re so excited that Sevierville is getting a its very own Buc-ee’s just off the 407 exit! Known for immaculately clean restrooms, a stellar coffee bar, and all the beef jerky flavors you can think of- we’re going to be visiting this establishment extremely often. Did we mention that this will be the world’s largest Buc-ee’s when it opens? 

• HeartSong Lodge and Resort

Dollywood’s newest lodging facility is set to open in Fall 2023. This state-of-the-art resort will feature 302 rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, communal fire pits, and it all overlooks picturesque scenery of the Smoky Mountains.

• Dig’n Zone Theme Park

Coming spring 2023, this theme park is about to make all our childhood dreams come true. Here you can safely operate construction equipment like the pros! They offer attractions and rides such as excavators, skid-steers, rollers, forklifts, loaders, and many others.

To top it all off, right in the center will be a stage to host concerts and events! We can’t wait to see what talent arrives to perform at Dig’n Zone. 

• The Sanctuary Treehouse Resort

Last but not least, an amazing treehouse resort is coming our way! Even the locals are dreaming of spending an evening in an elegant treehouse. They’ll feature fun amenities like rope swings, slides, escape hatches, hidden beds, drink chutes, and more! Each rental will also boast a scenic deck with bar seating and a fireplace.

This will be the largest resort of its kind as it sits on 40 acres in the Smoky Mountains! The best part? They’re already taking reservations for Spring 2023!
