- Cades Cove Loop – Cades Cove is popular for a reason, and we think it’s a must-do on your trip to the Smokies. The loop is known for being a perfect place to see wildlife. From native birds to bears and deer, you won’t want to miss this opportunity to connect with nature. It is 11 miles long and has stops to pull off for picnics or a break from the drive.
- NewFound Gap Road – Newfound Gap Road is known as the lowest pass through the /smoky-mountains. This drive is smooth-sailing as it is the only completely paved drive through the Smokies. A plus: there are signs that let you know when to stop to see some exciting historical landmarks along the way!
- Blue Ridge Parkway – 469 miles of beautiful mountain terrain. The Smokies stretch so far and you won’t believe the views! Don’t forget to make a few pit stops for a picnic or a hike along the way.
