5 Things To Do in the Fall in Pigeon Forge

Undoubtedly, Fall is one of the most beautiful times of the year to visit the Great Smoky Mountains. The leaves change, the weather cools down, and, we can all agree, it’s perfect outside! If you’re planning your visit to the Smokies during Fall we have some great ideas for you to keep in mind while sorting out your itinerary.

  • Hike and Explore Nature
A trip to the Smokies just isn’t complete without spending time in nature! We recommend checking out this blog all about our favorite hikes based on difficulty. The weather starts to cool down in Fall, and it’s even cooler in the mountains. Don’t forget your jacket!
  • Take a Scenic Drive
We love a nice scenic drive in the Great Smoky Mountains. We have a list of some amazing drives that offer the best views of Gatlinburg! The scenery is unlike other times of year; trees with leaves of every color flood the mountain sides and wildlife comes out to play one last time before Winter!
  • Experience Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Supper ShowPaula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Supper Show is the ultimate lumberjack experience! Enjoy America’s only Supper show, consisting of a BBQ sandwich, baked beans, coleslaw, cookie and drink of choice. The most affordable dinner show in all of Pigeon Forge is at Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Supper Show. Watch as real athletes compete in classic lumberjack events; from axe-throwing to the speed climb. Then, head to the Adventure Park to become a lumberjack for a day and try out what you saw in the show for yourself! The cool weather makes for perfect conditions to spend a day outdoors.
  • Play Mini Golf
We have 2 favorite mini golf locations! Right behind TopJump Trampoline & Extreme Arena you’ll find the brand-new Toy Box Mini Golf. Experience the 18-hole toy wonderland that brings your childhood to life! Right down the Parkway, stop by the sweetest mini golf course in town: the candy-themed Crave Golf Club. It’s a candy-themed paradise with an indoor and outdoor mini golf course.
  • Check Out Dollywood
Dollywood is a must-see on your Pigeon Forge vacation. From shows and entertainment to the Harvest Festival Dollywood is jam-packed with fun during the Fall! It’s also perfect weather to walk around the park for a day. There is something for everyone at Dollywood!

We hope you enjoy your Fall vacation in the Smokies!
