Best Local Restaurants in the Smokies

Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg are home to hundreds of amazing restaurants. Something about good southern food can make a vacation to the Smokies top-notch. We’ve got a few favorites and want to share them with you as you plan your next getaway! 

First up is a local favorite: Local Goat. Reviewed by tourists and locals alike, it’s a favorite. Their menu stretches from burgers to ribs to pasta; each one incredibly delicious with a home-grown taste. The service is as sweet as their dessert, too! 

Head off the beaten path to quaint downtown Sevierville and eat at Graze Burgers. They serve the most unique burgers and hotdogs you’ll find! We highly recommend trying out the Trailer Park Big Dawg; it’s jam-packed with bacon, onions, chilli, pickles, and cheese. All around, supporting local small-businesses is a great way to spend some of your vacation! 

Newer to PIgeon Forge, Junction 35 arrived with a bang. Half distillery, half restaurant, this place has something for everyone! Their menu is all your hometown southern favorites with a twist. Join them Tuesday nights for trivia! 

Paula Deen is well-known for her homemade butter-filled recipes. If you’ve ever wanted to try out what you’ve seen her make on TV, head to Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen at the Island in Pigeon Forge! Be prepared to share as you order enough for the whole family to pass around, just like dinner at home. Not to mention the view! The Smokies and the Wheel are just outside the windows for you to admire as you chow down on Paula’s recipes. 

You’ll have a hard time finding anyone who doesn’t love Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant and Grill at Apple Barn in Sevierville. The Stokely family opened up the restaurant in 1986 and it’s been a town favorite ever since. The apple orchard is right on the property so you know all your favorite treats and meals with apples are made fresh!
